Epson XP 440 Printing Blank Pages

Epson Printer Printing Blank Pages

If your Epson XP 440 printer is printing blank pages, follow the below-mentioned troubleshooting methods to resolve the printing issue.

  • Refer to the user guide or manual to check whether the ink cartridges are correctly installed.
  • Also, check whether the ink level is enough to print the documents.
  • Place the printer on a flat surface because a change in its normal angle may also cause operational errors.
  • Use the compatible media type for printing the originals from the Epson XP 440 printer.
  • Print a Nozzle Check sheet and verify the printing pattern for clogged nozzles.
  • Clean the print head either manually or remotely using the printer utility.
  • Cleaning the print head will resolve the printing errors and increase the quality of the printing.
  • Go through the paper settings (paper size, orientation, and layout settings) from the printer’s control panel as well as in the printer software for verification.
  • Also, check for the blank pages from the Preview window while assigning a print job from the computer.
  • Even you can select the Skip Blank Page option in your printer software if you are a Windows or Mac user.
  • For Windows 10, click the Windows icon and navigate to Settings to select the Devices tab.
  • Select the Printers & Scanners tab and choose your printer from the displayed list to select Manage  Printing Preferences.
  • Click the Maintenance tab to choose the Extended Settings button.
  • Select Skip Blank Page and click the OK button to save the changes in the settings.
  • For Mac, open the Apple menu and select System Preferences.
  • Navigate to Print & Scan, Print & Fax, or Printers & Scanners and select the Epson printer icon to access Option & Supplies.
  • Click the Options tab and mark the Skip Blank Page option to On.
  • Click the OK button to save the changes and to close the tab.
