Epson XP 440 Won’t Print

Follow the procedure given below to fix Epson XP 440 won’t print issue:

  • Ensure that the printer is placed on a flat surface. It may not print properly when placed on a sloped angle.
  • Check the ink cartridges if the ink has run out, replace the cartridges.
  • Use only Epson genuine ink cartridges.
  • Make sure the tapes and other packing materials are removed from the cartridges.
  • Use the correct paper that meets the printer’s specifications.
  • Check whether the printer is offline. Go to Control Panel and select Printers. Right-click on your printer and select Use Printer Online.
  • Check for any paper jams or paper bits inside the printer. Remove any stuck or torn paper bits present inside the printer.
  • Check the printer connections and cables whether it is fixed properly.
  • Update the software to the latest version from the official website of the printer.
  • Clean the printhead nozzle with an alcohol swab to remove the clogs on the nozzle.
  • Restart your printer and check whether the problem has resolved.
